Running Extension Cord Through Sliding Door

I have sliding doors and i m thinking maybe just run an extension cable outside every time i want to use it and for an antenna i will just buy an outdoor antenna and mount it on the balcony wall or something but this power fix is not practical in the long term and knowing me will get annoying after a few uses.
